Cleaned lens of each camera
Cleaned camera itself (solid metal part of camera)
Cleaned DVR, monitor, mouse and general surrounding area with cloth and spray and wipe
Ensured fans are not excessively noisy and clean
Cleaned/Vacuumed rack cabinet
Checked each hard drive and ensured they don’t have errors
Check if any legacy user accounts need removing
Checked remote access with Alarmquip office
Checked software is logged in with a standard user account and not an admin account
Checked each camera has recorded footage
Checked if any camera positions require adjusting
Checked if any cameras need auto focusing
Disconnect UPS from GPO and ensure system stays running for a least a minute or two (if applicable)
Checked if any additional PCs or phones/tablets required apps (if applicable)
Ensured all cameras are named
Installed or replaced stickers where necessary
Is everything else working okay? Is there anything else they would like reported back to our office?
Take photos and upload to Alarmquip server for tech support
Checked if any additional cameras are required (Check current camera models and XVR channel capacity)
Checked if recording retention period is adequate (Are more HDDs required? Get XVR model and current HDD count)
Checked all three PTZ functions (Pan, Tilt and Zoom)
Checked microphones are enabled (if applicable)
Ensured privacy compliance (i.e. any camera field of views that view a private place or where a private act would occur have digital privacy screen(s) enabled)
